ÖUS x Mano Brown x Criolo Collab
Clothing Collab between ÖUS and the two biggest names of rap in Brazil, Criolo and Mano Brown. ÖUS is one of the largest sneaker and streetwear brands in Brazil focused on the skateboarding market. Mano Brown is the legendary music producer and founding member of Racionais MC's, the hip hop group from São Paulo formed in 1988. Considered one of the 100 greatest artists in Brazilian music in 2008 by Rolling Stone, Brown is a true icon. Criolo is a Brazilian singer, rapper, songwriter and actor. With a career starting in 1989, he was originally known in Brazil as the creator of Rinha dos MC's, but has gained worldwide attention for his solo work and, in particular, the album Nó Na Orelha (2011). In 2019, he was nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards, for ''Boca de Lobo" (Best Music Video, Short Version) and Etérea (Best Song in Portuguese). In 2018, the rappers decided to do a small tour together and launch a merch collection in collaboration with ÖUS, which at the time had Balaclava Studio as their creative & design team. The collection was launched on Dec. 8. 2018 at Cartel 011 store in São Paulo with a special set from DJ Nyack. Half of the products in the collection sold out in less than 24 hours.
